To prohibit unethical, immoral, and criminal acts by Presidents, Vice Presidents, and Members of Congress, the new Constitution provides safeguards:

  • Citizen Oath of Allegiance
  • Oath of Office for Public Officials

National Referendum For… STANDARDS of ETHICS

The new U.S. Constitution for 21st Century and Beyond mandates high Standards of Ethics for President, Vice President, and Members of Congress

The Constitution provides for a new, effective, and meaningful:

Combating POLITICAL ABUSE OF OFFICE
For decades, however, abuses of public office by politicians have resulted in (1) corrupt tax laws, disastrous monetary policy, and other anti-citizen acts; (2) multiple, over-costly, duplicative Congressional hearings; and (3) appointment of 15-20 Independent Special Counsels by the Department of Justice--at multi-million dollar costs to taxpayers--to investigate wrongdoings by elected or politically-appointed public officials in high-cost court trials.

To reinforce the Citizen Oath of Allegiance and public official's Oath of Office, a National Referendum for Mandating Standards of Ethics in Public Office will be conducted to require that elected and appointed officials, including Presidents and Members of Congress, shall affirm, by signed, sworn affidavit, the following:
"I, (name), swear/affirm, that I do not now utilize--nor have I ever utilized--my office, equipment, staff, and other taxpayer supported entities (1) for special benefit to myself, my family, my friends, and other acquaintances; (2) for campaigning, political fund raising, and other activities relating to my tenure in office."

To confirm veracity of Presidents, Vice Presidents, and Members of Congress who sign such sworn affidavits, the Federal Bureau of Investigation would be authorized to interview staffs of the White House and Members of Congress under oath to confirm the validity of the affidavit.

To combat political abuse of office, Presidents, Vice Presidents, and Members of Congress also must be required to sign a SWORN AFFIDAVIT affirming non-abuse of of office.
